Was it really a year ago I could hardly sleep all night, because I knew our comic was going to be launched in the morning?  364 days later we have a beautifully drawn epic strip and Maddie concludes her first field mission.  What a journey for her, and for us!  Some things I’ve learned over the last year:

1. This is hard work!  Unlike other efforts, the hardness of this work comes from the fact that it’s something to keep at, week after week.  Sure, there’s epic weeks (like this one.)  But the real challenge is to keep going.

2. Communication – audience, fans, and between the members of Team DorWei.  Don’t just assume that the other person knows what you’re planning  even if you work really well together! And listen to what your audience wants!

3. It’s ALL worth it in the end.  Look at what we’ve accomplished so far!

Thanks to EVERYONE who has supported us over the last year.  We would seriously have stopped about after the first strip if you guys hadn’t been encouraging us the whole way!  Let’s see where Maddie’s story goes after this! :D
