It is bittersweet and weird…to think that there’s only going to be one more season of Medusa Blues left!
You can be sure I’m going to cram as much story as possible into each strip from here on out (and have been doing in recent weeks!) I am taking our winter break to think about just how to make this the most epic, the most awesome, the best story arc of Medusa Blues to go out on. It really means so much to me that you guys have stuck with us for almost two years now.
Thank you all for taking the ride with us so far – happy holidays and I hope you’ll be having a fantastic time with your loved ones this winter season!
I don’t understand? Web comics, especially ones that update once a week, take a loooooooooong time to get rolling and years to reach any kind of conclusion. We just have most of the major and minor players introduced now. We’ve only had one Love Inc mission. There are sooo much of this comics potential that has barely been tapped. The concept has so much going for it. Are you sure you want to leave it as a short?
Any chance you could do some mini arcs now and then after the official wrap up. Like Columbo or other loved TV shows sometimes do? Or just the occasional one shot like Maddies’ Read Or Die dream? I miss those. I was hoping for many more of such once we got past some setup and got good and comfy.
And the line of plushies, now there will never be a line of Tiny plushies…. its all so sad… TT
Yeah, even after 4 “seasons,” it still seems like this strip was just getting started.
Sigh. Yes,I know we’re only now settling in with all the characters because the one strip a week format means it takes really a long time to get the story out. This fourth season will have to be our last because of the sheer time it takes. If we can’t commit to it 100% then I feel like bringing the strip to a conclusion would be better than “maybe DorWei will be updating this week…or maybe not” – which is something we really don’t want to do to anyone who is supporting us by following the strip!
In the end I think I’ve only gotten through about what I originally thought would be a year of story. (Ah, so naive in the beginning!) There’s a lot more I wish we could have explored – the ideas are there – but in the time we have left I’m committing to making our last arc as awesome as epic as possible to bring this strip to a satisfying close!!
How about doing the rest of those ideas as book chapters with pictures only for some particularly awesome moment (and the book covers of course!)?
So many titles are jumping back and forth between media format these days. Why not Medusa Blues?
